I think the bookies gave Oz too shorter odds, so the Aussie cricket team put their money on the poms.

We LOST that game, we were not beaten by a better team.

Our batting last night was beyond belief considering how well we have been playing. I hope that we save our good form for the finals in the world cup, not in the runup games!

Sadly, but hopefully we've seen the las of Gilchrist. What a complete failure this guy is these days. He's hits 1 good innings every 20 or 30 and people still think he's a legend. It's a shame to see about the most devastating batsman since Viv decline so far, but it's time to cut him loose. Also Michael Clark should go another useless batsman.

Good to see the poms win and really shows that Australia is fooling itself if it thinks it's even got a hope in the World Cup. Australia are great front runners, but when the pressure is on, they fold like cheap suits. Imagine how one sided it would have been if Petersen had played for the poms.

Australia really missed Symonds, but that's sero excuse for the other batsman who apart from Ponting and Hayden (barring last nights pathetic effort) were useless.

Sadly, but hopefully we've seen the las of Gilchrist.

A form slump??

I feel bad for him obviously, but no need to cut him. If England took that approach on it's first part of the Summer they'd have no team playing.

It's the same as when Tubby Taylor had his bad run - Even the Waughs were sh*te for a period..

Bring back Boonie.. Park him at silly mid wicket with a beer, than bat him at 3..

Come on Gilchrist has been woeful for 2 years. In the ashes in England he was puerile and this year all he did was that one brilliant ton in the test and then went back to his usual single digit scores. His 20 last night was one of his best scores all summer in the ODI's. He's not even a great gloveman.
