Id get rid of all the old firm personally - harsh, but future is everything. Yes, Ponting's making runs against India but they are no better than a club team here......he will get found out agian under real test conditions.

Id rather lose the Ashes with some youngsters playing (Kuwaja, Wade etc), and have them develop and get better (look at whats hapepned since we played Warner, Pattinson, Cummins tec - these guys just need an opportunity!!) than lose with the same players that havent delivered the last two years, and have th eteam fall further behind - old firm is Haddin, Ponting, Hussey.

ps: Marsh obviously dropped as he shouldnt have ever got a test cap to start with.

I think Punter should retire after these tests, go out on a high.

Just hit 400 - double, or even triple century for both batters?

Watched a bit then - absolutely pathetic lack of effort by the Indians.

Any wonder people dont bother turning up to tests these days and 20/20 is where the attention is......(I dont rate 20/20 as cricket)
