Ahhh sweet let us know how it goes and what effect it has on the note.

Mika... punch and gut are the same, if you do this make sure you clean it out good! But do get a cat fitted later :-)

I gather the cat was grafted to a BA dump and clearance above the cat wasn't a problem?

Cheers!

I had my car tuned yesterday and OMG what a difference!!! the thing pulls like a freight train!!! I can see how restrictive the stock cat was now its definately a worth while mod and yeh the catco cat does the job beautifully! the sound is a bit louder of course but its not too loud I dont think and I already have my centre muffler removed. it has a nice burble to it and sounds grouse on kickdown! also my flutter is heaps louder and goes for a bit longer too! LOVE IT :roflmbo:

Hi All, just wondering if the Catco's people have been putting on lately have been running well?

Also, I found his site offering the Catco Cats with flanges already welded on for a decent price.

I've have had my 3.5in catco cat for about a year

very happy and cheap

think it was $260 and $800 for the rest of the 3.5in system

only thing I should have gone s/s all the way

and the cats haven't got heat sheilds so I used a stock BA muffler cover modded to suit

Hi mate, thanks for the reply. Good the hear the Catco is running well. I will probably make my own heat sheild out of some aluminium plate I have lying around.

What sort of power are you running through it?

Cheers
