Ben my advice is to get the best brakes you can find.

There's no way I'd run 4 pots with the power you are running, and if I'm going to excess on anything it's always brakes.... so I thoroughly recommend 6 pots.

You have far greater margin for error, can brake later, and you'll have better lap times.

Also think of it as insurance, and it might just save your life. I've had times where I've gone too hot into a corner, and the brakes have saved me.

Interesting you say this. The new HSV brakes are only 4-spot down from the 6-spot they had, but despite the new car being 140kg heavier, the new 4-spot AP's outperform the 6-spot AP's by quite a margin. Not sure why this is?

Of course whose though say AP won't produce a new 6-spot caliper that is even better and I would consider 6-spot or 8-spot myself.

I'm amazed no one has mentioned to look at the Harrop website, as they produce excellent brakes for Ford as well as Holden (alos WRX and GTR) and make a large number of kits covering a lot of price points.

I linked a pik from Harrop in the first page. They told me no front only kits for BA.

Also, a 4 pot caliper has more contact area than a 6 pot caliper for a given pad size.. ( only what I've read )

Sorry didn't see your Harrop pix. Yes Harrop refuse to sell front only kits. Did you know Simon from Nizpro (I think) has BF F6 Brembo kits for about $2850. That's a darn good price.
