I fear mine is still iron ore in the kimberley ranges..........Edge- they are about to find the ore for yours! regardsDallas
Guest LionHeart Guests Posted 09/12/02 09:35 AM Share Posted 09/12/02 09:35 AM They did that with the TS series cars..Rumour has it they are looking at it again now for the rest of the cars but as you could imagine what a nightmare it is going to be to get going again. especially in that volume we would be talking about....The site itself where you could check says that they are updating the system to let that happen.. Not sure how long it will take them to get going or whether they would have mined the iron ore for you car by then...

Narooma manual turbo... yummmmmm...)
Guest KiwiXR6T Guests Posted 09/12/02 09:09 PM Share Posted 09/12/02 09:09 PM A friend of mine manages this process as one of Ford's supplier. They have an SMS text messaging system, which tracks the SIDO number through it's entire build process on the production line. Still in development mode, but I'll let him know there's been more interest about it.

Estimated date of delivery is DD/MM/YYYY. Any questions call 13 FORD"Would have saved a few phone calls...
