Guest Guests Posted 16/01/07 09:00 AM Share Posted 16/01/07 09:00 AM Iv'e had a guy Pm about the ZF I have for a F6, he wants to put it behind an older v8 and said that some shops can make an adaptor plate to mate the box to the engine. Is this possible to do, would it be a big job to mate a F6 ZF to a Boss if that's the case. If this is possible (seems unlikely to me though) I'd do it otherwise im goignt to try and trade it in or swap it for a ZF for a Boss.

Guest Guests Posted 16/01/07 10:42 AM Share Posted 16/01/07 10:42 AM Now that I think about it I couldn't see why an adaptor plate couldn't be made to bolt it up but the programming will not allow it, I wonder if a ZF edit turns up would it be capable of allowing this.On seccond thought where is the TCM located, is it possible to pull the TCM out of a damaged Boss ZF and install it in a T6 ZF. But the valve body may still be a stumbling block ???

Guest Guests Posted 16/01/07 11:20 AM Share Posted 16/01/07 11:20 AM Im only thinking of this as I can't find one to buy, even ford dont have stock of them and they can't tell me when they possibly will.I have a running ZF from a BF F6 and the damaged ZF from a xr8 I wonder if I could make one fit.
