When did you actually start this project?

The first post to this thread was made on the 17th November, it is simply unbelievable that you have managed to do this conversion in under 3 months, and sounds like you will be driving it by the end of the week.

Simply a astonishing effort. :spoton::tease:

Thanks mate :spoton:

I actually drove my car for the last time on December 22, so this is really when the project started.

Prior to this I had sourced the ZF transmission and some of the required looms and other bits and pieces, but otherwise it was just a matter of adding bits to be replaced as I discovered that they were different on a BF to a BA, thus the updated list of components at the start of theis thread :tease:

Most of the looms are in the $350 - $550 range ea, except for the dash loom, which I think was about $800 new. Considering the amount of wiring and plugs involved, I didn't consider the cost unreasonable

Good luck with your project.

My car is at Ford to get all the programmes loaded, so in the next day or so I hope to be driving it again :idunno:

Those the retail price's, id so not really that bad.

Did you originally replace it or did they give you the wrong one to put in, bet you can't wait to jump back into it now :blush: .

I'm waiting on a call back about that box and I'll let you know the outcome.
