Ninka Donating Members 1,850 Member For: 22y 8d Gender: Male Location: Perth, WA Posted 03/02/07 03:20 PM Author Share Posted 03/02/07 03:20 PM Well I thought I would post my experiences now that I have driven my car with the 6 speed trans for a couple of weeks.Let me say this - IT IS AMAZING - and I have never been happier with the car, it runs better than it ever did, and the treansformation has definitely been worth the effort and money I won't spend a lot of time explaining how the ZF trans works, as I think this has been well covered elsewhere, but to compare what was an early 4 speed BA model, with what is now virtually technically a BF F6, is just incredible, the smoothness and quietness of the trans, the gear changes, the comfort and better responsiveness of the engine are major highlights, so as I said AMAZING.All this various issues I had with making this conversion have been resolved (except one minor and unimportant one), and I can catagorically state that the conversion is possible, even though it takes a bit of effort.Thanks to those of you who have given me positive feedback and encouragement along the journey, it has been greatly appreciated.Hmm what next!!
