some of you guys must have some mighty frienly dealers.

up here in mackay the dealer principal is a scrooge I was at the bf launch having a beer with him and we got on the topic of mods.

WELL he said he has the power to VOID your warrenty if you do anything to your car, flash water meth or anything.

He even went as far as saying an fpv has expensive tyres for a reason, so he wants it that you HAVE TO put the same or better quality tyres or he can VOID driveline warrenty,

He said Fo Mo Co was still thinking about the idea but DEFINATELY on the new model he will have this power over your warrenty.

I rang fmc and they said it sounds a bit rough but he can definatley put a big ?? on your vin number. they suggested to go to a more friendly dealer in another town for warrenty claims.

Now im too scared to even drive down the same street as the dealer in case he hears my cheap tyres spinning

ironic part is the dealer is called friendely motors

Wonder what sort of issue the would give with warranty with a Stage 2 Proccess west kit IC????

Can't see how this and a flash can damage many things.

I hear so often you play you pay. Yer yer and honest ppl would do this.

Thing is the dealers are dodgy more than we are. that's the problem.

I would be happy if I modded the turbo and it broke I fix that.

But they want to blame a mod on a different part and say that is the problem for all issues you get.

Suddenly you mod the speakers and they wont fix you engine for some reason. :)

My thoughts only.

Surly a bigger IC is better for the turbo.

if you upgrade your stereo that has no effect on your engine, hence they would still fix warrenty claims on you motor.

Edit, in most cases, is used to increase power. Running more boost etc puts more strain on your motor.

that's pretty easy to argue that it had a negative effect on engine life and warrenty claims won't be paid.
