I chipp'ed my front compressor blade (f*ck knows how)

Sympton was, I hit boost one day and heard a loud as high pitch squeal, I thought it was a loose house but we ran the car on the dyno for like 3 and half hours couldnt trace the noise.

So in the end we took the front pipe off and bang there it was a chip'ed front comp blade, I still dont know what happend but it did.The other weired thing was it was still boosting fine just had a really high squeal.

End up coasting we but I know a few people hear and there so I got out of it for like $500.

Here is a pic

My bearings are a failing in my turbo at the moment. My mechanic has told me that there is a restrictor in the oil inlet to the turbo to reduce the oil pressure in the bearings. The restrictor fills with carbon and other solids and it stops the oil flow eventually. The Turbo now sounds different but still boosts fine. Im not driving at the moment untill I get it repaired.

The shaft of the turbo can have a little bit of play in and out (endplay) but no rotational play or very little.

Im also after a reputable turbo repairer if anybody can put me onto somebody.

Does anybody know how much end play and rotational play the turbo spindle should have? I had my turbo checked out by Ford in Perth and they said all is good, even though it sounds "noisy", and it has both end play and rotational play. It boosts up fine and you can hear it winding down for about 20 seconds after turn off.
