im currently in the process of sealing the deal on a Honda 2002 CR250 alu frame for my 96' CR500... atm my bike is valued at about 6G with all my mods, to get onto a great new 4stroke which could "compare" to my bike is "impossible".

once I do this mod my value near doubles and makes it one of the comfiest rides on 2 wheels with one of the most powerful 2 stroke dirt bike motors to boot :bum:

cmon clint, call me with that final price!!!!

I doubt the value will double. Those things are practically unrideable, too powerful. They get hosed buy the thumpers in MX. The only place the 500s dominate is desert racing and even there the thumbers have been beating them lately.

All I can say is that you must have one big set of balls to ride one of those.

Ok here it is.post-5989-1164096642_thumb.jpgIts a Raptor 700r SE with fuel injection. They normaly retail for $13200 but I did a deal on one for $11800 out the door :spoton:

I take delivery in 2 weeks and then I will start modding :roflmbo: Power commader and pipe and filter :spoton:

Was that impressed with the picture that I had to get one myself. Pick it up tomorrow :w00t2:

Do they come with training wheels

FPV TRANNY ........are you still with us??

When I picked the bike up I had a chat with the dealer about future mods. No shortage of money to spend on things such as exhausts, K&N Filters and the motorbike equivilent of the edit etc. Here we go again. :fool:

BTW the power / torque these things have is awesome and needs to be respected. :msm:

Real MXers have only 2 strokes.

I know of a brand new 06 YZ250 still in the crate for $6k from a dealer.  as of 10 days ago.

That's why Charmicael, Reed, Buba, Smets, etc are all racing 4 strokes.

Whatever you do, DON'T put a K & N on a dirt bike. I've seen it done more than once and every time meant valve failure within one or two rides. Dust is a big problem in OZ and the most important thing you can do is use a top quality, twin element, foam filter. Unifilter, no-toil or Twin Air.
