Drive it for 5000kms so its broken in, then decide if you are happy with the power.

What ever you do and this is very important "DO NOT RIDE IN A MODDED T" it is very hard to say no to mods once you have experienced the power. :roflmbo:

I Picked up my new BFMKII T with FZ on Tuesday. I intend to get an edit, F6 CAI, Wog Cooler and Possibly injectors. I will see what rwkw I get before I fit new injectors. If I can get close to 300 rwkw without injectors or cat I will be happy.

from what iv seen and heard the stock xr6t injectors will max out at 10 psi

My last decent car was a VS Executive so anything after that is a race car to me. Basically I want to gaet to know the XR6T well before I make big mod decisions.

Dude my last car was a VS... It had a large cam, full zorst etc... Basicaly it went heaps harder then stock.... But then I got the T and trust me the performance cannot be compared!!!!! My T is still stock and it still amazes me how quick it is.... Altho as soon as I sell the VS the T will revieve an Edit, cooler, tranny cooler, maybe valve springs if needed and prob CAT fot the mean time... With that power level im guaranteed to sh*t myself every drive hehehe

I've had my T now for 6 weeks. I couldn't believe the power when I first drove it but now that I am used to it I don't feel it as much. Mind you I've driven close to 3000 km's in those 6 weeks.

I'd love to get the flash and custom tune but the budget won't allow for it atm. Have to settle for a new zorst, 2nd CAI, filter and some bling for the exterior.

If you are going to do the EDIT do the injectors as well that's my 2cents anyway. Better allround performance instead of pushing the STD injectors to the limit and counting on good fuel to prevent the PING

The filter is also a good starting point as it is quite restrictive

IMHO

a/ let it breath with 2nd CAI, new filter (K&N, Kingdragon etc) and a min 4" cat to free up the cork b/ in tank replacement fuel pump (Walbro) to throw in some fuel pressure c/ cool the charge with a wog cooler and d/ edit with a 10lb custom tune from one of the reputable tuners here, aiming at safe AFRs (and PSI). Start with that. See how you like it. The smile will be there for a l o n g time.
