ive heard from a good freind of mine that fpv might be going under,hes already bought theyre tyre machine,tig welder,plasma cutter and more,they cancelled projects they were working on and sacking staff every day,anybody else heard what might be going on to be certain???

Probably something to do with the POS force6 and force8 they released... what a waste of money!

But sounds a bit like hearsay...

forgive my ignorance but do you think FPV would be fitting tires in there factory? i think tires and wheels would arrive assembled for fitment as required..? tig and plasma cutter? would mods do FPV do to the base chassis that would required major fab working requiring these types of tooling? Are your sure it wasn't FPR..? having a workshop clean out before they buy some new tooling for next season?

FPV used to do all of their own tyre fitting, but now they are put on at the assembly line.

I asked the question when we all went down for the FPV tour about 3 years ago. All of the cars that visited FPV (t's, GT's etc) all came over with chasers, then the alloys were put on at FPV. They now fit them on the assembly line.

So that's why they sold their tyre fitter, they dont need it.

I heard London bridge is falling down...... :tease:
