It's NO good just getting the stock band replaced, as it will go again. You're obviously an enthusiast, so get the job done properly if you want to get the best out of your T. You have already got them to change the torque converter plus wasted their time for absolutely nothing. Flashing tunes back to stock and trying to get them to rectify a problem you created on a performance tune. Come on!Once you mod your engine this does not become their problem. It is NOW YOUR PROBLEM. If you dont know what you are doing then go consult a professional trans speciallist and pay the dollars to get a solution like most people do. ROLMDL role model Member 1,111 Member For: 18y 10m 5d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne,S.E Posted 09/11/06 10:16 AM Share Posted 09/11/06 10:16 AM so its not slipping on the factory map in just D??is it just slipping in PERF in 2nd???as I had a similar problem when my car was stock and the car would drive normal in D and drive like normal but when I had it in PERF it keep missing 2nd gear and slipping took it to ford and they told me it was just a burnt out wire from the trans to the ECU and the ECU didnt no what was gonig on. they replace it and all was good still gonig strong now even with the edit. but strongly agree with the other just get it upgraded with stronger parts as it will saving you money in the long run anyway.
