I have just got it back from my last ever ford service.....they tell my it was always like that, :gooff: It sounds like a ricer, full sneezing on back off and sounds like a leak on hard acceleration. LOL and they swear that's how it was. Could the BOV have shat itself in a day?

And since its had 2 coil packs is there an after market HD coil pack?

Mick

my suggestion is to remove the xover pipe and replace it yourself checking all clamps.

its ford policy to leave the boost clamps less than finger tight so as to create a boost leak

Mate as stated above.. Go over the entire intake sysyem if you can and check it all.. I had "finger tight" throttle body clamps and was not impressed.

Thanks guys I'll go right over it today, Just made me so pissed off when they say it was always like that, and accused me of lying, as I say last time I ever go to Hidden Valley Fraud.

Yep a boost leak, the short hose from the crossover to the throttle body was folded at the bottom had caused it, still pissed that I got told that's the way it was :w00t2:
