I agree.. the service I have got (apart from when I went straight to the dealer principle, when they wouldnt fix my rear bumper properly after THEY crashed my car into a pole in the workshop) has been pretty sh1t full!

Any dealer can fix warranty claims. So if you find a good one stick with them. :roflmbo:

Longest topic ive ever read on these forumns. Hoping its not another urban myth like the old cruise control in the wet causing prangs.

Sounds like they can detect it, and as the technology advances they will detect it more and more. When warranty issues come up, then worry about it, but shouldnt stop anyone getting the EDIT.

I must admit.. after getting edit.. it makes the car into a whole new weapon!

problem is now it opens up a whole lot of new "wants"...

new brakes, new cooler, new injectors (check :roflmbo:), new clutch... ah so much to save for :roflmbo:

anybody who is thinking about it.. just do it!

Too right, exhaust next and that should take me over the magic 300.

I went to see my Ford dealer last night, and showed him all the mods I've done. FMIC, injectors, springs etc. He was very impressed and happy to work on the car.

I know there'll be no warranty on anything affected by mods, but the preventative measures will be looked after by them. He's happy to do the turbo oil supply screen as they've already had a couple in with that issue. I've even got stickers on the ECU box and plug stating not to flash etc.

Like so many have said, you play you pay. Doesn't worry me at all cos now I know the dealer will look after me as much as he can. They have before and they will again. :roflmbo:
