The zoom article your talking about was WorkHorse Wakeup series. very impressive! Twin turbos off a 4cylinder nissan motor I think. Smoke machine. Had no traction and then they upgraded the turbos to nissan V6 trurbos I think. I would do this job for my own car but ford isn't about to do it for already stated reasons!

would be nice but!

I don't doub't the twin turbo setup would be wicked. So would the price, therefore I can't see Ford doing it, when they are already on a winner with the underworked single turbo.

I seriously doubt ford would release a twin turbo anything!

it has taken them how many years to put a turbo on a xr6?!?! Expensive Daewoo has had super 6's for ages... they will get a twin turbo before ford does.

I think the Raptor gullwing ute from MMS is going to be TT. Doubtfull that Ford will change to this setup, nothing really wrong with the single turbo we have now.

the last twin turbo I drove relied on a broad rev range to be effective ... actually I didn't like it that much ... felt brittle some-how

unlike the XRT which is in a class of its own ...

the XRT hasn't got the 6000-8o00 range when one can pull miracles .... like the GTRs, TT-Supras and other hp in-liners

a Garrett40 at 6psi is only "lighty blown" to say the least, if it got to 12 or 18 then one could use engine management to emulate the action of a twin turbo ...

is it the bottom end of the rpm range we are really talking about ? :(

if it is then we should have got V8s ( :D j/k)... nothing like cu"s
