Repco has the Ferodo Formula's; a division of Repco is the Australian distributor of Ferodo. Delivery from central store to local store takes overnight.

Over the phone Repco claim completely linear coefficient of friction of 0.46 for any temp up to 650C and at any speed. I haven't seen the data. By way of background the temperature markings on my DBA 5000 discs latched at 450C using my previous factory pads (which are excellent btw), so a 650C pad has miles of headroom. YMMV. (Factory pad Fc characteristics are unknown.)

Repco recommend the Formula pads from ultra high performance street cars and some track. They claim that the pads are used exclusively in 'Supercars that you can pay to have a ride in'. I do not know what this means.

Repco do not recommend the next model up DS2500 pad for the road, in fact they actively dissuade potential clients from this path. This may have something to do with having to move excess stocks or it may have something to do with the margins on particular products. Then again it may be a sincere recommendation. Repco claim that the DS2500 is a Fc 0.5 pad... but only when it gets hot... which not good in road conditions.

I had my DBA 4000 glowing a few nights back using the ferodo formula pads and the brakes were still perfect. Was it the pads or the rotors or both doing there job?

Any recommendations for pads for the premo Ford brakes? (Not the brembo’s)

Urgg... dunno what pads are in mine but I am SO sick of the squealing! It seems to be getting worse and I was hoping that replacing the pads might stop it for a while! The price you pay for performance
