You want good brakes they come with dust...you able and happy to pay the big bucks for the name then go Ferodo.Dingah Edited 07/11/06 05:07 AM by dingah2

I dont mind a bit of dust as I wash my car weekly but I hope their not rotor rooters???

Having said that I have no idea what the Ferodo's are like for rotor wear...Chris

Massive dust is a mark of massive performance as any driver of a European car can tell you. There pads are sh*te and produce even more dust than the RB74.As for how good the RB74 are, Racebrakes in Sydney that sold me them no longer recommend as a first choice and use Ferodo or Hawk.As for big bucks are you kidding. I had a set of Ferodo DS2500 to fit AP Racing 4 spot calipers for a $186 from Racebrakes, how cheap are you?

They aren't too dusty I don't think, but your mileage may vary on that. They do squeal a bit at low speed but they are a good pad. Can't remember but they weren't too expensive.I am changing calipers and fitting DBA 4000 rotors and I've chosen to go with the QFM LTM pads after speaking with Tyrone. I was going to go QFM's 3 years ago but didn't get around to investigating them enough and went the Ferodos.

There are no LTM fronts in stock, have to be made, which is 2-3 weeks. Worse still is they don't do the rears at all, so must be made up from existing backing plates, or no go.I was looking to put all this gear on next week, grrr.
