Read my words, the RB74s are far and away the best value...half the price of the Ferodo and little to choose in the performance stakes....anyway what do you want pretty clean wheels or brakes that work? You want good brakes they come with dust...you able and happy to pay the big bucks for the name then go Ferodo.

I read somewhere that the RB74's are very hard on your rotors...

Not saying they aren't great pads, but the cost saving over the Ferodo's may be eaten up in premature rotor wear. Having said that I have no idea what the Ferodo's are like for rotor wear...

Chris

That's why I got pads that worked even better and didn't produce anywhere near the dust. Massive dust is a mark of massive performance as any driver of a European car can tell you. There pads are sh*te and produce even more dust than the RB74.

As for how good the RB74 are, Racebrakes in Sydney that sold me them no longer recommend as a first choice and use Ferodo or Hawk.

As for big bucks are you kidding. I had a set of Ferodo DS2500 to fit AP Racing 4 spot calipers for a $186 from Racebrakes, how cheap are you?

waneroo isn't too bad on brakes though but im impressed with them.

I have had the Ferodo Formulas on my car since day 3 on my car, which is almost 3 years now. 81000k later they are still going and the rotors are too (DBA slotted). They aren't too dusty I don't think, but your mileage may vary on that. They do squeal a bit at low speed but they are a good pad. Can't remember but they weren't too expensive.

I am changing calipers and fitting DBA 4000 rotors and I've chosen to go with the QFM LTM pads after speaking with Tyrone. I was going to go QFM's 3 years ago but didn't get around to investigating them enough and went the Ferodos.

Well, it looks like the QFM dream for BF calipers is a little tougher than I realised. There are no LTM fronts in stock, have to be made, which is 2-3 weeks. Worse still is they don't do the rears at all, so must be made up from existing backing plates, or no go.

I was looking to put all this gear on next week, grrr.
