Actually, yeah, there's more than one way to skin the cat. See if you can run the cmd.exe (usually located in C:\WINDOWS\system32) by browsing to that location and running the executable.

lol - sounds a bit like the group policy I setup. No browsing on c:, no run command, no dos prompt, no usb drive access :crybaby:

I love reading these threads, as my company does this type of thing to our clients all the time. Its to stop their staff accessing personal sites during business hours.

With AD Group policies it is very difficult to bypass, and that is why we like it.

Firewalls and proxy servers will also stop you dead in your tracks.

The best way around the restriction is a RDP connection to a home PC, but any good admin will remove access to RDP client and block outbound port 3389
