My little brother borrowed the Territory AWD for a trip to the ski fields with a bunch of his mates... he rang me up on the way complaining about the chime and the S symbol flashing - he said it was going on and off all the time on the trip and was getting really annoying.

When he asked me how to turn it off, I told him it was the 'overspeed' warning and I'd set it about 10 km/h above the legal limit... and asked why was he driving it so fast? For some reason the call abruptly was disconnected... damn hills and pesky reception...

That sound is just as bad as the seatbelt and fuel level chimes!

It'd be nice to turn off the seatbelt warning somehow though, the fuel level is kinda handy giving a heads up ...

Hey Phevor,

There was a thread on turning the seatbelt warning off some time ago, I did it about 10 months ago and no more warning bells.

Sorry I can't recall on how to do it though, it was something like turn on ignition buckle seat belt turn ignition off and so on.
