However, I have noticed that the red light around the starter button stays on permanently after I start the engine, until I turn the ignition off again. Is this supposed to happen, or is it supposed to turn off after the engine starts? Thanks,Brent.

Guest newl Guests Posted 02/11/06 05:30 AM Share Posted 02/11/06 05:30 AM I remembered to look yesterday afternoon on the way home. It is bright before start with the key switched on and goes dim after that until you turn the car off.
