My last car was a WRX MY00, and I did love the car but I wanted a change and it was a good choice, they both have there goods and bads but for outright acceleration when these things are modded is unbelievable.(I have something for straight line acceleration) :tease:

mildman its a crappy feeling huh. but ohh well im getting the standard xr6 now. iv been driving dads 06 xr6 around and even they have potential.

im getting the papers for it today, its a BFxr6 and got all the luxury options like the black leather inside, sunroof, prem sound, 18" wheels and its in a funky black colour. and in the long run it will be cheaper (insurance, fuel ect)

its not wat I wanted but hey cant always have wat we want, cause trying to start a family and all the crap that goes with that and ontop of that I got a wedding to plan. I will definatly stay on the forums even though I'll only have a xr6. if u guys dont mind? well cheers for all the info.

Well done on the purchase, but I think we will be seeing a "I need more power" thread from you next.

We see N/A drivers asking about Turbos and S/C kits every week. At the end of the day its cheaper to sell the car and get a new one.

You just cannot get past the feeling of B O O S T

Agreed. When I first got my XR6 I thought it went alright but quickly got used to it and now it just feels plain slow which it is really. I had planned on getting some power upgrades done early next year but I think I am better off to just save that money and pay the car off as quickly as I can and then get myself into a turbo. I should have this car paid off just as orion/aurion (however the hell you spell it) comes out so I can't wait and think it will be good timing.
