I always laugh at the guys that say " it never detonated, I never heard any noise" blah blah blah... the majority of turbo motors with these dodgy generic tunes are on the edge of detonation, alot are detonating but it can't be heard due to the noise of the road, stereo, exhaust... why else would serious tuners use headphones to monitor detonation?? Why are guys running around with 300plus wkws on stock motors without any dramas? MYWPN Donating Members 554 Member For: 19y 7m 18d Gender: Male Location: Bendigo Posted 30/10/06 08:53 PM Share Posted 30/10/06 08:53 PM the car had been custom tuned, this didnt happen on a generic tune.and it as running ~12psi boost, it wasnt hot because I had it parked for ~35-40minutes before taking off and this happened in the morning when it was pretty chilly.I wont go warranty, dont think they will honour it and I beleive in you play you pay, not you play at other ppls expense.can anyone recomend a good engine builder/tuner in the sydney area?←does that mean you didn't let it warm up???
