How olds the oil? And do you red line in much... looks like its had some serious redline action combined with detonation.

Grab a F6 motor if your gonna keep it or just put a wreckers NA motor in, stick the red rocker cover on it and trade her in... dodgy but who cares when your trading in ;)

How on earth could you say it had seroius redline and detonation.

I can tell you now that it does not take that to make these motors let go.

Mine never was over reved or there never was any detonation and it let go.

Ian

PS I know of the stock motors that have let go in the same fashon both had been driven softly.

The more the RWKW you put out ... must have an effect on the life of the motor.....

I guess there are always problems with a bad engine build from factory or faulty parts, that is the original idea of a factory warrantee to cover parts under these conditions but modify it / place more strain on components and they fail in a shorter time I guess. Maybe this motor would have died regardless of the modifcations........

could of had some bad fuel and detonation caused it to go!

Bugger.

Sorry to hear.

I hope all goes well.

I know Nizpro do a very tough engine and if you going to spend some hard earned folding you might as well get the best.

Cheers and chin up.

I was manual and mine did same then there junk standard ring atomic

Sorry mate cannot agree. Yeah there are a few failures going round, and that is very unfortunate for the owners.

There are also plenty of Tuff T's running with stock internals, and have been for a long time. In fact the vast majority of people engines in here would be stock, and they cop a hard time.

Not many other engines so easy to extract power with some degree of reliabilty.
