Howdy all,

had a look around for a thread on this, apologise if I've overlooked it. Has anyone looked into stiffining up their skirts? Over the weekend I'll raise my girls arse to check her out, the utes are stiff as Kylie's, but the sedans are wobbly as Anna Nicole after an eating binge.

I can feel my "T"s weight about to increase by a little, as my tiny brain can't handle the flimsyness of it & I'm in the mood to cut & bend & drill some steel.

ktford ... funny you should mention that ...

my better half has a sedan and I've got a ute ... and have been puzzled by the general stiffness of the rear skirt on the sedan <_<

Howdy,

Its Sunday arvo & I've finished the drivers side brace. Will test & do the pass. side next week. I didn't use the same brace point as "ninka" as I was using a peice of 20mm X 2mm flat steel. I instead used the mounting points of the IRS & hooked in into the bottom clip where the inner guard, mudflap & rear skirt join. Stiff as Kylie's ass, no more flimsyness.

Will get a digi camera & post some pics mid week.

Here are those pics I promised of the drivers side rear skirt modification.

Real impressed. Done the trick. It is now as stiff as I am just looking at it!!

Will now work on left side. Hope this helps others.
