Easy As for 2.5" to turbo, I'll see. I still have a doughnut and a length of pipe left, and I wouldn't mind re-routing the feed from the comp under the battery tray. 90 deg bend straight off the turbo compressor should get it o fit.. Dano, BOV, running where it was. It will vent/draw some atmospheric, but it's only for a week or so.. Not alot in it.Crossover setup will be changed in roughly a week to a different arrangement.. As for Master Plumbers, well they can GAGF Will be painting it soon.. Boost comes on almost instantly, only requiring 200rpm to get to 8/9 psi... That's from anywhere in the rev range, not just loading it up Compressor surge/chatter is farking loud. Sounds like I have a pair of mating turkeys under my bonnet. Bit ricey for me More pix when painted. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/29699-my-intercooler-install/page/4/#findComment-456794 Share on other sites

That looks faaarking terrible.. Ohhh for faaaark sakes, that's faaarkin horrid. That's no good at all, nup, that's F*&*KED " Meh, he's a \|/ and it's MY temporary pipework, not his.. ( I'm not too keen on it either ) ( did I mention he's feverishly running around finding an intercooler, coz now he's scared I'm quicker than him) LMAO old boy.. Anyhoo, Results:Well, the thing runs cool. about 10-15 deg above ambient, and that's with me leaning on the throttle.Put into perspective, it runs at around 32-38 degrees during the day, flogging it around. That's colder than the F6 cooler ran at night, on cruise down the fwy.. Impressive.Lag, well the tune isn't 100% so I can't judge fully, but seems a touch lagier, but it might be the volume of air has increased with the 4" turbo inlet/intercooler piping, so it's more progressive, and less snappy, but still punching the numbers?? I'm also running 5psi less boost- which might have some say in it.. I'll be getting onto the dyno tomorrow to do a few or four tunes and see what happens. I'll be posting up dyno sheets tomorrow night with some pix if I get the chance.... I thoight this might keep any pipes from being exposed to the top of the exhaust manifold?Great job anyway! ←You can fit a 3" pipe by entering it the same way as the N/A intake. I've been running one for some time now. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/29699-my-intercooler-install/page/4/#findComment-460788 Share on other sites
