I got the T piece on & ran it through the firewall, hardest part was running it from the firewall to the dash.

is the T - Piece not pushed on properly? or is it one of those "stepped" t pieces which allows for multi sized pipe?

Thanks for all the help guys, is really appreciated :D

Im going to try and wire the guage up to accessories now, so that it lights up when everything else does :)

Thanks again for the help :)

need to pull ICC out, and run the stuff down the back, make sure none of your wires chafe on the metal supports so they dont cut and short out..

If you wired it up like I did, you should have 3 wires.. Power, Gnd, and Illumination dimmer.

I used the ciggy lighter.. GND, POWER, and since the dimming circuit is -VE switching, you connect to that.. So, your illumination needs the +ve going to the other illumination side.

If you hook it up the wrong way, you will have Dim guages when the dash is full bright, and your guagesw ill be brightest when the dash is dim (oppisite)

of course in my case, there is a 4th wire, which goes out the firwall the same gromit as the auto shifter cable uses (passinger side footwell)..

I remember reading it is heaps easier to wire them into the tc button? is this right?

depends,

if you remove icc, its easier to hook onto the ciggy lighter loom.. otherwise, I guess the tcc button would be a goer..

personally I like removing the icc as I can nicely run my cables / vac line to avoid it rubbing on any metal part of the dash.. :>
