It is not a case that I am un happy with my dealer. The reason why I do this because I believe it can help other t owners who are having similar problems to me resolve their issues.. I will also continue to do this. When I mention that things were broken on my car when getting warranty work I would hope that this makes fellow owners think about going over their cars when work has been done. I was rather annoyed when driving up Bulli pass (wollongong nsw) when I discovered that the mechanic did not do up the hose clamps on the throtle body and also snapped the mounts on the cross over pipe causing my car to suck in unfiltered air into the motor. If you were going onto your fourth Diff would you be happy?? Dont get me wrong every time I get in my car it feels like its the first time I have driven it and this is why I bought the car. I hope I dont anger anyone by posting this but I just though id share my reasons with you allRob

I've had my car serviced by the 3 Ford dealers in my area (that are now owned by the same parent company) and they are all in different ways. I won't go into detail as I wouldn't want to bore you but there are plenty of other people in other cities/towns/states with similar problems.Yes my car is modified, the business that did the modification did a great job and if it weren't for the minor detail that they are eight hours drive away from where I live I would use them for all my regular servicing. I have never tried to claim any warranty work that my modifications could of caused. The dealer is aware of my modifications (polished FMIC is a giveaway as is lowered suspension and aftermarket mags...) and doesn't have a problem with them. My car is out of warranty anyway. But I still require the car to be serviced regularly and most people would assume that a Ford dealer would be a sensible place to go as they should be qualified and experienced at working on them. The thing that people object to is spending a decent size pile of cash on a car and when you try and do the right thing and take the car back for a service or warranty repair (all brands of cars have warranty problems, Ford is not unique) you are treated like a fool and or lied to about what what work was done or not done to your car. I don't expect the red carpet to be rolled out and champagne to be served to me in crystal glasses by scantily clad nymphs (I wouldn't say no though..), I just expect to be treated in a courteous and non condacending manner and for the work to be carried out on my car in a timely and competent manner. Instead on focusing on the negative stuff would it be better to focus on the positive stuff, like how good these cars are.The cars are good, a lot of the times it is the (lack of) after sales service that lets the team down.
