The dealer is supposed to correct this as part of the $1500 odd they charge for dealer delivery. If they're still out of whack on the yard, then they've not done their job. My AUII XR6 ute's bonet was out of whack when I went to collect it new, but I refused to take the keys until they aligned it (as well as centre the badge that was also crooked).I'm sure Ford wouldn't be too happy to learn that:a) This dealer hasn't properly checked and aligned the panels upon deliveryandb) They are telling customer that this is normal and that their cars are essentially 'low rent quality'.←They are low rent quality, that's why 70% of them have these issues amonst others. You get what you pay for, but the point that gets me angry is the fact that there are 30% out there that are perfect, which means they should all be of this standard. They have the same issues with Jap and euro cars on delivery (mind you, not to as high an average). Dealers should be aware of it and make sure it is corrected in the pre delivery. They are low rent quality, that's why 70% of them have these issues amonst others.

My last two cars were Hyundai's and my wife's Elantra has 124000km on the clock and is still going strong. Exterior/interior fit and finish better than my T as well. I admit it's not quite as quick as the Falcon but I'm still waiting for CAPA to develop an Edit to replace the Unichip that's on it. You can just be thankful to Hyundai for your 3 year 100000km warranty and start paying out on Daewoos or even the newly revived Fiat instead.
