Betcha they sell fark all of them.Ford need to hurry the ORION along quick smart cause the current shape is starting to wear thin.

Funny thing is, I was speaking to a dealer who said they'd sell bucket loads of Fairmonts if they could get them with the Turbo motor. Apparently Ford and the dealers have received a heap of feedback about this, but of course Ford has ignored this and instead gone with the Farce 6 & 8

I can understand why people are telling Ford they would love a Turbo Fairmont. But where would that leave the XR let alone the XRT range.

It had to be somthing different. Having said that this is poor, and I dont rekon they will sell many, which is a shame as it will disuade Ford to keep trying.

I am with CRO, Ford need to pack these cars with goodies. These goodies are then in the system and in years to come will filter down to the base models. At this stage I will be a Granpa before I see electronice memory seats, in a T or Base model.

Still we have not seen them on the road, and things definately look and behave differently on the road, than on the spec sheets. Also depends if the motoring journilists get behind them as well.

With Ford Australia looking at ditching the Fairlane model, I dont think we will see to many more ventures like this.

I agree with Cro also!

I really do not see how this car would be any better then a GT-P?? If anything it is a lot worse. For a start those seats are identical to the normal Ghia seats, just red in colour. The new Senator specs make the Force cars a bit of a joke really.

They should have kept the new BFII headlights and incoporated the FPV bumpers into it to make the cars a little individual at least.

Your right. For that money they should have everything standard.I just optioned one and it was $77k before on roads and LCT.The thing would owe close to $85K for a Force 6.Rather buy a Phoon and spend the extra $20k modding it :spoton:

Like stated, could work if it had more real lux option and the price was 10-15k cheaper! What a rip! Dam buy a V8 fairmont or a XR8 and spend the extra 25k on non factory lux mods and you would have an awsome car!

The Fairlane's have never been big sellers, they are usually sold to the govmit to cart pollies around. It seems that these Force models are kinda based on them.

I hope these cars sell well, but I dont think they will.
