Can someone remind me whats the driveaway price on a M5?

that would be $250,000 :idunno:

spend $200,000 on a falcon and it would be a seriouse piece of gear...

Spend $200,00 on a bathtub and it would be a serious bit of gear! :fool:

What's the price in Europe or even the states? it's so unfair. They get their cars AND ours cheaper than we do :omg:

Lumpy :kissmy:

I've got an uncle in the US and he picked up a new M5 late last year for around USD$160 000... (I think it was about that anyway)

Problem with BMW is that everything is an option..so your bog stock M5 isn't all that special..

Think maybe about 300k on road :yay:

Jeff,

Was it BRAND new or did it have some Km's on the clock.

The reason I ask is they do not enable the M button until it has done 1500km, so it would have only been 400hp, not the max 500hp.

seeing as 400hp equates to 298iskw it was on the 500 tune!

that's right 500hp would be at the flywheel :yay:

The M5 normally trundles around with 400hp it's not until you press the m// button that the full fury is unleashed. that's what Zap was getting at!

Before I got the F6, I priced and drove a M5.

It was black and only had the ventalated seat, tint and mats as an option.

$242,000 drive away, and I could of had it in a week.

That included $68,000 in taxes :spoton:

They only have a 2 year warranty and also have a few annoying bugs that are still being ironed out.

My main dislike was the very stupid gearbox. It would drive you nuts using it in peakhour traffic.

That included an F6 Typhoon with all options and all on road costs just in taxes :spoton:

Well, yeah, if someone was OFFERING one to me I know which I'd take too. But if I were paying, I think I'd take the F6, mod it to the max, and have, oh, about $200K left in my pocket!!!

I know these cars are out of our league but for some people spending over a 1/4 of a million on a car is just like us spending $50 k on a new Phoon. My oldman just bought a BMW 750Li for around $280k.Tried to get him in a M5 but he likes the longwheel base models.
