Trough Lolly Member 4,349 Member For: 20y 3m 14d Gender: Male Location: Mildura Posted 26/10/06 08:52 AM Share Posted 26/10/06 08:52 AM basically its on the back RHS of the battery behind the battery base plate,its the inner light gray solenoid. looks like it would be alot easier to leave the battery in as its a sh*t of a job to remove, but pull off the rubber inlet hose that goes down under the battery this would make it way easier to get to. only thing to fight against is the radiator hose, so do this job when the car is cold. I just took the battery out, undid the bracket holding the solenoid to the battery box (so I could get a better grip on it), then twisted the hose off.It was a bit of a muck around but I think its definitely worth it if your car is feeling a little sluggish(like mine WAS).
