tryed givin this ago then and it is a bitch to get the vacuum hose off

I couldnt get it off so I gave up lol. any tips on how to get it off?

ahha yeai even took out the battery lol the thing just wont come

out lol and how to get your hads down there to lol

but I would like to give this ago but.

basically its on the back RHS of the battery behind the battery base plate,its the inner light gray solenoid.

looks like it would be alot easier to leave the battery in as its a sh*t of a job to remove, but pull off the rubber inlet hose that goes down under the battery this would make it way easier to get to. only thing to fight against is the radiator hose, so do this job when the car is cold.

I just finished doing mine and I didnt have any trouble pulling the hose off. I just took the battery out, undid the bracket holding the solenoid to the battery box (so I could get a better grip on it), then twisted the hose off.

It was a bit of a muck around but I think its definitely worth it if your car is feeling a little sluggish(like mine WAS). It made the car feel alot more responsive after about five minutes of driving. :spoton:
