DAWSEY Member 441 Member For: 19y 5m 18d Gender: Male Posted 19/10/06 09:07 AM Share Posted 19/10/06 09:07 AM I am running ripshift, but as the other topics say the mal woods one is just as good...I am driven both. the ripshift feels quicker but the mal woods one feels stronger and smoother...if you are looking at either I would go a mal wood one... DAWSEY Member 441 Member For: 19y 5m 18d Gender: Male Posted 20/10/06 02:40 AM Share Posted 20/10/06 02:40 AM I fitted mine myself...it is not very hard, the hardest thing I found was removing the plastic around the shifter without breaking the little clips...get the gearbox mounts and drop it about 3 cm and hold it with a jack... that way you can get to all 4 nuts to take off the old shifter Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/29409-short-shifter/#findComment-451776 Share on other sites
