It is a Full Day event, $100 for members $120 for non members.

Its a Test and Tune event, you will be divided into groups of 7 or 8 and let out on the track in 5-10 lap runs. Gates open at 8am, be there  at 8am for scrutineering. The day ends at 4pm.

All types of cars are welcome from Corollas, WRX's, Supra's, Skylines,  Rx7's, Mx5, Falcodores.

I'm in.

Gees my cars going to be ro*ted come December.

Track day 18th and 30th of Nov, then 7th of Dec.

Cars going to be rooted or your tyres?

Just a general comment.

Jase, what tyres and brake pad are you running? I'm sourcing DS2500 pads for the Brembo's and Toyo 888 tyres to use at the next sprint event.

Jase, I'm running the Ferodo DS2500 pads on th efront only, stock on rear. They performed real well at the last event but you will need to change them out after as they squeel really bad on the street. I'm using Bridgestne RE55 R specs, 265 rear and 245 front.

Had the track day at Collie Motorplex Saturday..

Massive weekend, nice little track. Will eat a Ford and spit it out compared to Barbagello.

Very hard on brakes, and the ute, she copped a hiding.

I borrowed some R-Comp tyres on rims for the day, so my track speed was increased immensely. Add in some koni shocks and the 30mm swaybar, recipe for brake failure.

The ute runs a cooler thermostat and usually sits on 1/4 on the gauge.

3 laps saw it up to 3/4 temp and I had power steering fluid piss!ng out onto the spill tray. Oil temp was sky high also..

I ran my 'good tune' the first time out. I was frying semi spec race rubber thru 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear :roflmbo:

My brakes are that :w00t2: that I have NO slotted rotors anymore, just solid discs :roflmbo:

Lots of pix were taken, but here's a quick one of the ute on the track and then under full braking effort
