Stage 3 water restrictions start in my area tonight and one of the restrictions is that you can't wash your car I was wondering what that dry wash stuff is like and if it will scratch the paintwork? I don't want to take it to the local car wash (recycled water) and have everyone elses dirt smeared onto my car via the dunnybrush they call a scrubbing brush.TIA ←Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. He reckoned that they use a foam that "lifts" and draws the dirt off the paint work.. dont think soIts good to have a mate in the spray painting business.. And that dry wash stuff is sh*thouse. My brother inlaw uses is and once of those Enyo sponges that supposedly lift dirt (against my recommendations) and his car looks like its been washed with wet and dry.
