The NUT Member 163 Member For: 18y 10m 1d Location: Townsville Posted 11/11/06 09:06 AM Share Posted 11/11/06 09:06 AM Of course if you drink 3L of water you will gain 3kg providing you dont urinate any out. Whichever way the body may disperse it, its still 3L of water in your body. If you eat 1kg of cheese you will add 1kg to your immediate weight, however of course over time the majority of this is lost through the body's waste metabolism. I highly doubt you will be able to drink anywhere near enough water to achieve hyponatremia in a normal state. Hyponatremia is definitely possible, however it is reasonably uncommon, and most occurences are usually hospital errors due to IV over hydration, or extreme sodium loss. To help retain water definitely eat some very high salt meals, this will also greatly decrease the likelihood of hyponatremia. Diuretics are great for immediate liquid loss however, depending on your age and fitness I definitely wouldnt recommend them in too high or frequent doses due to cardiac side affects. Fat-Tony Member 5,364 Member For: 18y 10m 20d Posted 11/11/06 10:33 AM Share Posted 11/11/06 10:33 AM Ahhh best way to loose weight is to eat Natural food free of crap, such as trans fat and high fructose corn syrup. Hi fibre Low gi balanced diet, with an excersize program which consists of cardio and weights to aid in lean muscle production. Drugs for weight loss have to many bullsh*t side affects and dont give you lasting results.

Replace all meals with optifast and you should loose up to 1 kg per day, that is what I have been doing and I lost 25kgs in 6 weeks, without drinking the water first. I'm 6ft tall and am down to 105kgs and loosing 800 grames to 1 kg per day.←fark, that cant be healthy though losing that much that quickly←No it's not............put on weight is easy for everyone then again losing it is also easy if you know what to do ←WRONG.... Tried for years and nutin.Only way was to go to gym 4 times a week and drink 4 protien shakes a day and have 6 meals.EASY MY ASS.

On a side note I have lost 64 kg's over the last 11 months on weight watchers. No diet suplements or meal replacements of any kind, just diet and exercise Proably harder in the short term but I'm hopeing it's a more sustainable way to keep it off in the future←Only just noticed this thread, but, that's a damn good result. You have to be happy with that.I've started exercising, my goal not to lose weight, but to change shape. 8 weeks later, I've only lost 1kg weight, but 8cm around my waist. In turn, I've gained cm's on my arms, chest and legs. I do weight training (have done it in the past, so is easy to get back into again), and stick to a strict diet. No carbs after lunch, plenty of green leafy salads, vegetables and meat, fish and chicken. Oh, and the mandatory protein drinks. I try to have at least 200gms of protein per day, and use supplements (no steriods) too. I don't mind the protein drinks, but the supplements (Like Musashi's Recovery) taste like , and the diet is trying at times.Worth the results though, and makes me feel good. I can't imagine how bad people who are grossly overweight must feel. They'd have to have low self esteem. The whole basis of how foods are assessed on the weight watchers program is saturated fat and kilojoules. They are the only 2 things I look at when looking at the label of something I don't pay any attention to carbs, sugars or total fat content. As far as exercise goes I have been running 7 - 10 km four to six times a week depending on how I feel and how busy I am. Once I get to my goal I want drop back to 2 runs a week and start going to the gym for say an hour twice a week to build a little bit of muscle.
