Welcome mate you want need to retune after you fit a 2CAI if you want a louder exhasut then just take the mid muffler out and fit straight threw pipes or

Does anyone know if the BF II T has the same CAI. I am getting a Mark II on Tuesday I heard they may have the F6 CAI as standard

Tex - have a BF2, and the CAI is as was.... no second entry point.

Here's the economy option: Radiator hose from an old Fairlane at Supercheeep (that has an inner spring to prevent collapse), hole saw in the front of the lower half of the box at (just under) that size, hose clamp on the inside of the box to secure it, and feed the hose under the headlight out into clear cold air next to the grill. This long old design hose is spot on for the angles needed to take it through a 45 then a 90 deg bend. Leave the original intake as is. Total cost $14. Photo is of one mounted, second one will go in next weekend. Almost unnoticeable. That and a Kingdragon washable filter, and you're away.

I did the XR8 mod on my BAT. It is easy just use the XR8 snorke and a rubber joining pipe from a plumbing supplies. The only problem is if you want to put it back to standard you have to buy a new air cleaner assembly. I know the post you are talking about it had great instructions and picks. I can't take pics of mine it is long gone.
