It is more expensive but Alpine quality speaks for itself. To add to the posts here - I recently spoke to my old boss Fred Kaerger at Rockhamton car sound only a few weeks ago about the hubs. The boys at the shop had just done a Alpine installation course help by Alpine in Brisbane. He said " When oredering a Alpine hub you have to be specific as to what model and year the car is" as the come with different patch leads and instruction (complete guide and pictures of harness's and plugs). So installation shopuld be a breeze for a reasonable able person. If you have any inquiries contact you local Alpine dealer. I'm sure that they would be more than willing to help.
