If it was me, I'd fit Bilstein shocks and a 27mm Whiteline front swaybar. It'll totally transform the car into something wonderful while you're going through the first few months without engine mods.

What brake package have you got, or are intending to fit?

If it was me, I'd fit Bilstein shocks and a 27mm Whiteline front swaybar. It'll totally transform the car into something wonderful while you're going through the first few months without engine mods.

What brake package have you got, or are intending to fit?

I agree on the Whiteline sway bar, did the same modf on my VT II and it helped a lot. What about strut brace too, as that also worked very well. On my VT, I also did a whiteline rear bar, but is that necessary on the F6.

As got shocks I might actually get custom made coilovers. I know the guys at Penrith Suspension make a very nice kit andnthen I have fully adjustable bump and rebound and ride height.

As for brakes I won't do anything for a few months. The fronts are already 355x32 with 4 spot Brembos. Ultimately I might fit Ferodo DS2500 pads on the front and upgrade the single piston calipers on the back to 4 piston.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering if the Falcon was stiff enough it didn't need the strut brace, whereas on the VT-VZ it's mandatory.

I don't what the new RB24 compund is like but the I can tell you the Ferodo DS2500 is the ducks guts. I was at Racebrakes yesterday and the Ferodo pads are only about $380 and are very highly rated. In fact if you replace the stock rotors with say a DBA 5000 2 piece, which have a wider face, so you can put bigger pads on, the Ferodos drop down to around $200. The bigger pads are cheaper than the slimmer pads. I'd go DS2500 on the front and DS2000 on the back. There's a thread over at ls1.com that's a sticky with peoples input about pads which is worth reading.

Ha ha. Hadn't even paid attention under the bonnet other than engine. Mind you contrary to popular belief a VT can me made to handle very well and if the F6 is even a little better than how mines handling at the moment I'll be happy. Biggest worry for me is weight as F6 is 160kg heavier than my car, although I plan to shed 40-50kg of that :)
