Most reliable car I have owned so far) Mazda was traded for a VL Calais in 1989, which was subsequently passed on to my son in 1996.1996 bought a VR Calais from govt auction, and still have it (SWMBO drives it)1998 bought my 68 Corvette convertible. (true it's an auto GXE wagon with 300,000 on the clock, a stuffed exhaust, and a fat bas*ard driving it) I'm only 19, and still driving my first car, as above, a sh*tbox 1988 Nissan Pintara wagon, hopefully I will be able to afford a replacement in 2005 (probably won't have enough for a T (plus turbo + youngun = insurance nightmare), I'd like a TJ Series 1 Magna VR-X instead, possibly EL/AU Fairmont)I'll list most of my folks cars instead (to compensate for only having owned one car) newest to oldest:mum's:KN Laser (current)EA Falcon wagonXE Falcon sedanKE70 Corolla'70 Cortinadad's:N13 Pulsar (current, probly going to be replaced this year)'73 CoronaGE SigmaHG Premier(others, including RA28 Celica, '76 Cortina 250ci, ~XY Falcon, and many more)

The brake shoes where pushed onto the drum by a cam that spread the top of the shoes. On a hill you needed first gear at the top to be able to stop. Wished I still had it even though it was a lot of bad enginering but that was the 1950's. I was with Expensive Daewoo until 1972 then swapped to Ford and including Toyota 4WD trayback. Lately I have had a NF Fairlaine, BA ute, and a BAII Fairmont Ghia. I have bought a BF XR6T ute, with leather seats, front and rear parking sensors, XR carpets, a hard top, GPS maps. You young fellows have the best cars avaliable, but at least I know that my ute is the best vehicle that I have ever owned.
