 Seems I have something in common with another T owner ... the love of small fast cars.... but I'm not from NZ.. lol.. here they are in order.. only the dates have been changed to protect my sensibility.

1st 1975 leyland mini

2nd 1974 GT clubman (2 x 45mm weber)

3rd 1966 mini cooper

4th 1968 mini cooper S (BRG)

5th (and now the second best car I have owned) 1968

mini cooper s (red)

6th Laser

7th Subaru RS turbo

8th corolla panel van

9th toyota RAV 4 5 door

10th Mitsubishi magna exec

11th Ford EF wagon

12th BMW 525

13 th Mitsubishi magna exec

14th Mitsubishi Magna sports (2000)

and now fianlly the best car I have owned......it handles like a little car!

THE T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 and looking back up the list... I have had a different car every 1.25 years of my driving.... glad I'm locked into the T for 5 years

More Leylands... :hrmm:

1973 Leyland P76 Exec Navy V8 Auto (1st car)

1977 Datsun 200B (IRS so fun in the dirt)

1973 Leyland P76 Super V8 4 speed (Missed 1st car)

1982 Mitsubishi Starion Turbo (1st Turbo car)

1989 Ford Maverick XLT SWB (1st 4wd, brilliant, but thirtsy even on gas)

1980 Ford F100 4WD XLT LWB 5.8. (Plenty of space, far too much grunt, made the Mav look economical 300lt gas tank = 1000k range)

1998 Mitsubishi Pajero GLS 3.5 (Made XR6T look reliable)

2000 Nissan Patrol ST 3.0 Turbo Diesel (No room for baby capsule???)

1973 Leyland P76 Exec Purple V8 Auto (still miss 1st car)

2002 Ford XR6T

Still have the last 2.

Here is a pic of mums old car I used as a paddock basher....

remember how in movies if you open the door and someone drives past, and hits it, it would just fly off.....not true. :hrmm:

My little list:

1980 Subaru 4wd station wagon 4sp manual + dual range 4wd (absolutely indestructible)

1992 Subaru Liberty station wagon 5sp man

1998 VT Late model camira 4sp auto

2000 Mitsubishi Magna Sports 3.5l Man

2003 XR6 Turbo 5sp

The first Subaru was great fun, unbreakable (even in the hands of a P plater) and would go anywhere. My parents used to wonder how I got it so dirty all the time. Used to try and 4 wheel drift it on the dirt roads up the mountain.

VT Late model camira was a piece of junk, got out of that lease early.

I would still be driving the Magna (great car, just no character) if the T didnt come along.
