Have you had any one follow you in the clubby? Kinda looks like it mite crab? Got any more pics of it?

I don't think it is crabing. It probably looks like that cause the rubber cones are shot the 1's on the right more so, it's next thing on the todo list.

A few more pic's

Dyno chart, just after the new motor went in (and I mean hadn't even done 5 ks) for a dyno tune.

My user name is Sterck I didn't think Phantom ute would fit a mini forum very well.

the motor was built by mini and moke world at Brookvale I did the exchange my self and had them set it up and dyno it, Got to learn about carbies. Andrew at M&M said I'll get 40hp with a sports air filter instead of the std filter, I guess I'll wait till I need a new filter.

Got to get a new alternator it died on me last night.

What mini did you have? do you mean a 1275 but if you were going to that extent, why not a 1380 big bore, I have only just drop the 1100 in the way it was built it is ment to have the same power as a std 1275 I didnt put a 1275 in because I would have to up grade to disc brakes and it was a money factor as well.

Whoops 1275 its been awhile :) I had an absolutely stock 1973 Leyland Mini, standard 1100cc, drum brakes all round. This is going back quite a few years though. You are right about the brake upgrades. I didn't bother at the time with replacing/rebuilding the motor. I bought a Mk1 Escort 2 door with a warm 2ltr in it instead.

The mini used about $20 petrol for 2 weeks driving. It was a perfect first car.

I did a Honda Civic Disc Brake conversion on mine. 9.1in rotors and big calipers. Only just fit under a 12in wheel. Stops well now!

Can not knock u for getting a escort especially a Mk1 I got the mini to replace the ute as I could not afford 2 car loan repayments iwas looking for a Escort Mk1/2 but could not find 1 around Coffs but found the mini.
