Just had a random thought - didnt Ford have a sticker relating to family or something on there cars at one stage in the 80's?

I remember one that said - 'Driving Australia's Future' or something like that...

But they also pushed something along the lines of - 'Ford family or fine cars' or something didnt they?

Now a family with - Fine Ford Cars - instead... :)

FPV F6 Rspec

Tickford Concord...

hehehe Like father like son!

Man... what did that sticker say?

I remember as a kid washing the old mans Fairmont's every weekend, and he had a new one every bloody 2-3 yrs... (100,000km's or 3 yrs, whatever was first)... Funny its a warranty slogan, it was Boral's slogan for company cars as well...

I believe Boral was one of Ford Australia's biggest ever fleet buyers also...

Thanks Dad... now its in my blood...

aaahhhh I miss being a rice burner boy!

Saw it on a panel van at work today it was "Ford Australia - Were moving with you" lol

I miss my mini, so much so I was considering buying a new cooper S. $135 per week lease

was being advertised last week. I sold mine with a seized motor but I should have kept it and replaced the motor with a 1295 when I had the cash.

What mini did you have? do you mean a 1275 but if you were going to that extent, why not a 1380 big bore, I have only just drop the 1100 in the way it was built it is ment to have the same power as a std 1275 I didnt put a 1275 in because I would have to up grade to disc brakes and it was a money factor as well.
