New guy checking in.

Got my license on a Toyota echo, don't laugh :pandalol:

moved onto a Land Rover disco 2 Td5, which taught me how to swing a spanner! Love the car but it's just spat a Conrod bearing so I've shown up here to convince myself to buy an XR6 turbo. Hopefully will keep me responsible :busted1:

Welcome! Haha used to drive a disco 2 td5 for work a bit. Slow as heck but good off road and towing didn't bother it! XR6T will seem like a total weapon by comparison!

Did a bunch of off road training switching between a Cruiser and a Defender. At 6'2 I had to bend my knees in the Defender and use the pedals with the sides of my feet.

But yes. Buy a turbo falcon. Tomorrow.

Nothing wrong with a disco. I have a 3.9 petrol version. It handles great and loves the mud. Towing is a breeze as well although the falcon pulls the trailer a fair bit quicker.
