(luck was not my friend back then...)Since then I've had a:'96 honda civic coupe'91 Nissan Silvia s13 SR20DET (co-owned by my ex... who I gladly let keep the piece of crap!)'05 Subaru Impreza GX wagonI'll add some piccies when I get a chance.... and now, the '04 BA turbo... pretty much stock... for now lol Edited 16/05/10 08:45 AM by MRS TUR-BO6

I get that look from anyone I say it to!Country girl moves to supposed 'big smoke'country girl knocks off work at 11pm one night and decides while driving her apprentice home to do a little exploring around town.country girl gets to a sort of deserted part of town, that's almost not in the town anymore, and starts getting tailgated out of nowhere by a car on a very narrow dirt road. when road opens out, stopped, group of about 4 guys get out of car... in the dark... Country girl FLOORS IT cos she thinks she is about to be raped and murdered or something... country girls' apprentice is laughing and thinks we should pull over and TALK to them (!!!)as we get back onto sealed road, the car behind, that has been flashing hibeams and indicating the whole probably, 5kms back into town, pulls out as if to overtake...At this point apprentice stops laughing and starts screaming 'GUN!!!' at which point country girl hits the anchors just fast enough to have the solid homemade shotgun slug pass under the pedals, and get stopped by the engine block.... I damn near had my feet blown off.funniest part? as soon as it happened I started chasing THEM to get their number plate! lol... mind you at that point I didn't realise how lucky I had been. But apprentice was freaking and made me stop.Cops everywhere, car taken for forensics, what a mess! The guys were never caught, and a cop even called me 3 months after it happened and asked me if I found out who shot at me? WTF?!?! "pretty sure that's YOUR job mate!"so now I am very careful about where I go at night! especially if I don't know the area! Edited 19/05/10 09:20 AM by RHR No need to quote above post.
