Shell has suddenly flicked Optimax, or as some call it Optisut and this new V-Power has sprung up. Sounds like a real *beep* name for fuel but anyways.

Just asking is anybody using it and what your thoughts are.

About to try a tank tonight meself and will get back to ya's.

Well I will find out soon enough, got a try it once. Im bound to pay more for the name change. I did notice it the other day right next to the regular unleaded and how easy it is to get confused abd stick the v power in your hyundai when you meant to stick in the regular stuff.

Ive noticed the optimax extreme has been axed too. As if anyone dumb enough was going to fall for that one.

ive used 2 tank fulls of v power now, I did notice that you get less soot on the rear bar of the car compared to what optimax did, but other than that its pretty simular.

I got the same amount of k's on the tank as I did with optisoot and she isnt pinging so its all good. ill be using it from now on. :spoton:

V-Power is supposedly a new blend, yet at the petrol stations they use the same tanks etc

Optimax Extreme is still available, as for people being dumb enough...well I (and many other QLD'ers) use it as our BP/etc is pretty sh*t.
