Out of the 3 you have listed, the toyo's are by far the best but they're still pretty ordinary.

I got Dunlop Sport Maxx in 245/35r19 for $450 ea and they're a much better tyre than both the Toyo and Hankook.

As for size, I'm pretty sure 265's will fit the front (not 100%) and definitely fit the rear.

Hope this helps.

sport maxx for $450?? geez, I got quotes down here in canberra, and the lowest was $350 fitted, highest was $390 fitted. that's what I'll be going for if I keep my 19s :stirthepot:

I too am looking to replace two of my 19's and was quoted $350 each for the Dunlop Sport Maxx. The other tyre I like the sound of is Toyo TR1, they apparently have a harder compound on the outside of the tyre to increase shoulder life. This is my biggest problem as the centre of the tyre still has 4-5mm of tread.

Worn out side and good tread in the middle is a sign of under inflation. But I am assuming you already know this and run correct tyre pressures. I have never heard of differnt compounds through the tyre itself, can someone please point me to some info so I may educate myself.

Ask for a price on TOYO PROXES T1R's way better tire but will be priced to match.

Are you looking for cheap tires or Good tires? or a cheap good tire :spoton:

I've got the Kumo exacta(?) on mine in 235/35 and 265/30 19, I think theyre around 250 and 300 a corner. Cheap but I flog them around the track and they stick really well... Ive cornered as hard as I could and they dont really break traction under good track conditions.

Latest word I have is the new Bridgestone RE050A are superb, wet or dry. Highest rated tyre on tirerack.com (check it out for excelent reviews) and even outrated the Eagle GS-D3 in the wet (which means they are amazing). No idea of price yet.

Whilst this is generally true it's just the outside edge that is worn which is more likely to be a wheel alignment issue (not enough negative camber) I think. I run 40psi front and rear so I don't think they're under inflated.
