Sounds like a great idea re the platters of food. I would like to organise a few things for the day's activities... can I suggest everyone brings themselves a chair or two, and does anyone have a giant shadecloth tent thingy? Might be good to set up a couple of those early in the day to give us plenty of shade.

Food suggestions:

Cold meats platter(s)

Sandwiches platter(s)

BIG pack of sausages

Tray o skewers

Cakes

Biscuits

Cartons of softies (Price?? :spoton: )

Also items that will be very useful:

BBQ utensils

Large Eskys + Ice

Cricket bat/stumps/ball

Footy

Sunscreen

Shade tents

Another boat?? (and a ski biscuit?)

What does everyone think??

I've got a 3.5 x 3.5 m shade gazebo that we can erect if it is not too windy.

Also have a pretty big esky, and will be happy to bring some ice as well.

We'll probably bring some potato salad and obviously some meat for the BBQ as well.

I dont want to over commit but im pretty keen for this.. as long as nothing pops up between now and then.. my 12 yr old daughter and I will be there..

I have a couple of eskies, can bring then full of ice from work as well..

have cricket bats and utensils and can bring whatever food we all decide on.. sometimes its easier bringing platters of salads and leaving the meat to yourself's for people with certain tastes or diets.. just a thought..

im hanging to get smashed on the biscuit!!! have surboards and tow boards, some diff size wetties if guys wanna have a shot behind the boat on them.. mate might even lend us his manta-ray flying ski thingy!!

Yeah we just have a biscuit, need to get a rope before the day too (my mate and I will sort that one out).

I forgot to add to that list salads like potato, coleslaw etc, and we will probably need plates/napkins/cutlery also.
